Mazda RX8 ECU remap by Brainstorm

Starting from the very basic version european Mazda RX-8 (called ‘challenge’) , Brainstorm company increased the horsepower by 15 Wheel HP, with no additional mechanical change, just by re-programming the ECU software.
Brainstorm provides two programs for RX8 Cosmo. The first increases horsepower by 5-8hp with rev limit 10.000rpms. The second one uses the japanese mazda ecu mapping with even better performance (available only for US spec RX8). All chracteristics as well as ecu self test mode are preserved. Later factory updates from Mazda are applied as normal.

Because in some countries like AUS and UK there are a “low power” model where they have a rev limit set at 7500rpm even for the manual transmission (189ps/190hp)
Also in the US, years above 2006, Mazda added the 6port 6spd Automatic transmission where it was also rev limited at 7500rpm.
This reprogramming are for people looking to “regain” the HP that Mazda Factory have “lower”.

Why does the video only show revving until 7500 rpm and then until 8500 then stage three 9000? My car revs all the wAy upto 9500?what’s the point of the video?

hey i need to no if i could just use my stock ecu to re program or get a performance ecu but my problem is that i cant find a performance ecu and dont no which is which i would like to know what brand to use for my 04 rx8 plz let me no or email at alejandror89@att.net thanks
